Yianni Kiromitis is a London based NHS and Private Sonographer with more than 21 years experience in the Healthcare sector. He holds a PgC from South Bank University and has worked for multiple NHS and Private ultrasound providers.

Specialities:

I started studying Radiography in Greece but quickly decided to expand my knowledge and came to study in the UK where I obtained my Bachelors degree in 1999 from London South Bank University.

Following my graduation, I worked for 5 years in Crawley hospital (part of Surrey and Sussex NHS trust) whilst studying and training for my PgC in Medical Ultrasound (General Imaging) which I obtained in 2004.

Since then, I have worked in both the NHS and private sector as I felt it was the best way of acquiring a broad and solid experience in ultrasound. I have extensive knowledge in abdominal, gynaecological, testicular, thyroid and neck and soft tissue lump scans.
I am currently working at Barts Health NHS Trust where I scan patients with various health complaints and also assist with the training of sonographers and junior radiologists.
